California Life – A Day At The Ranch

Here we are – another Monday and hitting the ground running!  We had a great weekend and are looking forward to next weekend when we take Jenny and Pearl on the road!

If you, or someone you know, live in the Phoenix/Glendale area, you need to mark next Saturday on your calendar.  We will be at “Picking In The Pasture”, a great craft/holiday fair with over 25 vendors.  We will have racks of beautiful vintage clothing, stacks of vintage linens for you to set your holiday table plus loads of sparkly, glittery, beautiful vintage jewelry!

  • Picking In The Pasture
  • Saturday, November 16
  • 9 AM – 2 PM
  • 13931 N 64th Dr., Glendale, AZ

Hope to see you there!

Last Saturday, we were back at one of our favorite spots on the planet – beautiful Calicinto Ranch in San Jacinto, California.  It was Mae’s first visit to the ranch.

The Girls and a Goat

She was fascinated by the goats.

Mae on a pony

Mae had SO much fun riding the pony. (I think Aunt Rachel and Uncle Sam had even more fun!)

We have a long history with ranches in our family and I was so excited to recreate this image

Ranch picturesThe picture on the left is Mae with her daddy Daniel – 2013.  The picture on the right is Mae’s grandpa Steve with his dad Glen at Teen Ranch in Australia – 1961.  As you can see, we can’t get ranches out of our blood!

For more great pictures of our day at the ranch, and a sweet little video of Mae’s first pony ride – check out Jenny and Pearl on Instagram!

As we enjoyed our wonderful weekend and looking forward to the holiday season, we cannot forget on this Veteran’s Day, those who have served and are serving so bravely around the world so we can enjoy our freedom.
